Part Description: This is a genuine C-Cast baffle replacement for several SBI fireplaces and stoves. This baffle measures 20 3/8″ x 27 1/2″ x 13 3/4″ x 1 1/4″. A wood stove baffle is a component, usually a metal or ceramic-fiber plate, that redirects smoke and gases through the stove’s firebox before they exit up the chimney. This longer path increases heat retention, allows unburned gases to combust through secondary combustion, and results in more efficient heat output, reduced creosote buildup, and cleaner emissions.
