This is an OEM Englander replacement part. This is also a genuine Englander replacement part.  Drolet© and EnerZone© are manufactured by a company called SBI – Stove Builder International.  This replacement top baffle is the same part and fits in at least two models of SBI’s wood stoves.  The Englander wood stoves are typically sold in high end specialty fireplace stores, whereas the Drolet wood stoves are typically sold in big box or hardware stores.  This replacement top baffle is new in a box in original packaging.  This official part comes with the full manufacturer warranty.

Part Description: Top baffle replacement in the Englander 30NC wood burning appliance.  This baffle measures 9.5″ x 18.5″ x .5″ .  This part is for one ‘1’ baffle only. Typically 2 are required.

Purpose: Top Baffles in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  If they are damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips: Often there is a trick in replacing top baffles.  It will take some time and patience.  You will need to remove the secondary air tubes in order to access the top baffle.  Also, some customers have replaced the baffle insulation at the same time as replacing the top baffle.

Other Notes: One only – most appliances require two of these.  This official SBI part is for one only.
