This is a genuine replacement part from Valor Fireplaces. This replacement part ships new in original Valor packaging.  Valor Fireplaces are made by a company called Miles Industries.

Valor Part Number: 4002249 (same as part number 4006552 & 4006553)

Description: All Valor fireplaces have a remote control and receiver box that contains batteries.  Sometimes, batteries leak and corrode the battery box.  The battery box is expensive to replace.  This Valor Battery Box Extender allows the batteries to be placed in a cheap box, which then plugs into the remote receiver.  Therefore, when batteries leak or fail, only this box is affected.  This should really be installed on all Valor fireplaces.

Applicable Models: Most Valor Fireplaces, Gas Stoves, and Gas Inserts.

Not compatible with the 4005676 or 4006113 receivers – G30 Series
