This is a OEM replacement Valor Homeflame Thermocouple for the Homeflame 479 & 480 and other gas models.  This part ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket equivalent. Valor Fireplaces are manufactured by Miles Industries.

Product Description: Genuine Valor Thermocouple- Homeflame 479 & 480 for some of their older Homeflame gas and propane fireplaces. The function of the thermocouple is to send a signal to the gas valve to stay open while the pilot is on.
