This is an official Vermont Castings replacement top griddle gasket part.  This part ships new and comes in original Vermont Castings packaging.

Purpose:  This kit includes a 5/16″ round gasket with high temperature cement designed to go around the top grille on many models of Vermont Castings wood stoves (Encore, Defiant, Acclaim, Vigilant, etc…).  This top high temperature griddle gasket may also fit other brands of wood stoves and wood cookstoves.

Why we like this product: Its important that the griddle gasket be in good shape in order to maximize the wood stove efficiency.  This is the official Vermont Castings replacement griddle gasket part.

Note: Wood stove and fireplace door gaskets are also commonly referred to as “Door Sealers” (Asbestos style rope that goes around the door channel).
