Part Description: This is a genuine replacement air tube A (also referred to as a “secondary” air tube) that is found in select Vermont Castings wood stoves and inserts. In a wood stove, air tubes are crucial for efficient and clean burning. They draw fresh air into the combustion chamber, ensuring complete combustion of wood particles and gases, which reduces emissions and soot. These tubes also help reburn uncombusted gases, further improving efficiency and reducing smoke. Over time, an air tube may become warped and may need to be replaced.
