This is an OEM replacement Weber Kettle Cooking Grill compatible with the Weber 18″ Charcoal Grill.  This is a Weber replacement part that ships new in original packaging.  This is not an after-market equivalent.

Part Description: This is a steel plated 18″ cooking grate that has hinges on the sides that can be flipped up. This allows you to easily add more briquettes if needed during the cook without having to remove the entire cooking grill.

Why We Love This Product: Why choose Heavy-duty plated steel grills? Cast Iron provides a great sear, but they need to be oiled and will not last as long as Heavy-duty plated steel.

How to decide? Cast iron is the cheapest and provides the best sear, but they will rust (if not oiled) and will deteriorate quicker than Heavy-duty plated steel. The Heavy-duty plated steel should last forever and don’t rust.
