These are OEM set of (2) Weber stainless steel Cooking Grills for the Genesis II 300 Series gas grills (see applicable models below).  This is a genuine Weber replacement part that ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.  Most Weber Genesis BBQs came with 7 mm thick cooking grills – but you can substitute for the 9mm if you want (thicker, longer lasting, better sear).  They are the same widths and lengths – simply a thicker stainless rod.

Important: There are two different options from the drop down menu. (1) 66802 – These are 7 mm thick stainless steel grills; (2) 66805 – These are 9 mm thick stainless steel grills. Both are the same size and will fit the Weber Genesis II 300 series grill – the only difference being the thickness of the grills. Generally speaking, the thicker gauge the grill is, the longer it will last.

Why we love this product: Why choose stainless steel grills? Cast iron provides a great sear, but they need to be oiled and will not last as long as stainless steel.

How to decide? Cast iron is the cheapest and provides the best sear, but they will rust (if not oiled) and will deteriorate quicker than Stainless Steel. The Stainless Steel should last forever and don’t rust.
