Description: This is a genuine Whitfield replacement firebrick that is found in both the Whitfield Profile 20 and Whitfield Optima 2 pellet stoves. In a pellet stove, firebricks serve two main purposes: insulation and heat reflection. They insulate the firebox, preventing heat from dissipating into the stove’s metal casing, and they reflect heat back into the firebox, improving overall efficiency and heat output. If your firebricks are severely crack or damaged, they should be replaced.
