Product Information:  The Bailey Lockfast Universal Drain/Chimney Brush has a plastic stock and polypropylene bristles. Bailey Lockfast Universal Brushes are constructed of nylon bristle with a plastic and work great when attached directly to a flexible “Blue Rod“ with 3/4″ solid brass end.  These special brushes can also be adapted to our standard “Yellow Rods“ with the use of the BAA UMPTF chimney rod adapter – but the yellow rods are more rigid and don’t allow bending around elbows or flex liners.

Do You Have a 5″ (or other size) Inside Diamater Chimney?

These bristles can be cut to customize.  Simply purchase one size larger, and trim the bristles as appropriate.

What Chimney Cleaning Rods will these fit?

These chimney brushes have a 7/8″ connection.  These will not fit standard ‘big box’ yello rods without an adapter (see below).  However, if your system has many bends, you may want more flexible rods than the yellow ones sold from the box store – see bendy flexible chimney rods.

The compact style of the Bailey Lockfast Universal Brush makes it an ideal choice for sweeping offset chimneys, flexible chimney liners, prefab flues, and stove pipe.  These brushes will not damage your liner system and with the use of the flexible BLUE rods, will allow you to sweep your liner all the way down.
