Purpose: It is attached to the slider damper and allows you to move the damper in and out to ensure the proper fuel to air ratio: allowing for clean combustion of the pellets.

Installation tips: Make sure the stove or insert is unplugged from its power source.  Open the side of the pellet stove or insert, unscrew the bolts holding the existing one in place and then re-attach the new slider damper rod.
